About Foothills

What is Foothills?

Foothills is a completion high school that offers students an opportunity to earn a Georgia high school diploma in a non-traditional setting.

There are 16 locations across the North-Middle Georgia region, offering a full range of high school courses in a convenient, flexible format. In-person sites are open year-round from 4:30-8:30 p.m.  while Foothills Virtual provides day and evening hours. Tuition is 100% free for students under the age of 22.

Students can enroll at Foothills and pick up right where they left off, without having to restart courses. The Foothills program is convenient and exceeds all state standards for curriculum and instruction.

Why Foothills?

Students enroll at Foothills for a variety of reasons. For some students, traditional day school is not the best fit. Sometimes, students have fallen behind and need a way to catch up. Others may want to advance through high school at a faster pace. Whatever the reason for enrolling, students will find a helpful, caring environment at Foothills where they can succeed.

The teachers and staff are dedicated to helping all students realize their potential by earning a diploma and preparing them for their next step, whether it is college, the military, or the workforce! At Foothills, students will find certified teachers and staff ready to assist them every step of the way.
