October 2016 edition of The Foothills Review. We are featuring recent Jackson Foothills graduate Cayley. Cayley is a great example of a Foothills student who thought high school graduation was not an option due to challenges in her life. Cayley not only graduated but is already in college working toward making her paralegal career a reality. Cayley is going to make it due to charter flexibility, the encouragement of her mentor and other Foothills staff, and because she is determined to have a successful career. We believe in Cayley and Cayley believes in herself. That is a winning combination.
Thanks for being a Foothills supporter. We are completing our Fall 2016 student count. We have nearly 1,000 students enrolled. We are very pleased. We are in conversation with several other school districts looking at expansion and replication. Many more Georgia students will soon have access to the Foothills model for a second chance high school option.
